Particularly barre chords are lighter to hold with these string, although the difference isn't that big.
Intonation is unaffected.
Sound is well balanced and nickel looks much better than bronze imho.
UPDATE after 2 years: I found that the wound G-string .022 was developing flat spots at the fret positions rather soon, so quality is now 4 stars instead of 5.
In the meantime I've tried the non-balanced tension 12-53 set, however I prefer the slightly better playability and tonal balance of the balanced tension set. I've also tried Ernie Ball Earthwood 80/20 and Aluminum Bronze, and I didn't like the harsh bright sound of these at all.
