Wanted to try out some heavier strings for my acoustic. I have always liked heavy strings, but never had I tried out anything thats heavier than 52-11 and I have to mention that I don't use drop tunings, just the standard E . Gauges like 54 are rare or not existing in stores in my country so thomann is the only place I can order them.
As all Daddario products this is great. Top quality strings. And they last long for the fact that they are uncoated strings. Been using daddario for about 13 years, cant say a bad thing about them.
It was really interesting to put on and play with these strings. I had to get use to them, but it was real fast and after 5 minutes i just forgot about the size of these strings. I really liked them for strumming, a huge tone that comes out of my guitar, and my guitar is not that big neither has ever had a huge low end, but now it does. It worked out for me, but I think it is very different for every guitar with these strings. One is for sure, the quality will be good and the sound will be useable.
Just try them out!

I have tried these for the first time on my Martin 000RS1.
I noticed they dont have the zing like my regular PB's and sound like well played in phosphors. Also they don't skweek as I go through the fretboard.
They kinda lack the punch and volume a little. What I really like about them they are tender to my fingers so I can play and bend quite a lot and I feel my fingers wont start to bleed.
They are going to have their first gig tomorrow.
I wish them all the best!

the description pretty much sums it all. I like bronze strings and Daddario's deliver the tone that I look for (a little vintage-y compared to phosphor bronze).
I tend to change trings often, however these ones last me a little less than other non-coated brands, but I like them nevertheless.
