I had the bad luck of ordering from another store and had to return it because it had all sorts of QA problems and defects. So QA on these might be shaky, but this one from Thomann is perfect.
Built quality is really great for an Indonesian guitar, almost as good as my MiJ Ibanez. The ash body looks and feels great, no frets sticking out on the neck. Bridge, tuners and lockers are smooth in operation. No dead frets as far as i can tell and little string buzz on lower strings. Needs some minor intonation corrections, but thats it.
The sound and the extended scale length is what defines this guitar. The Lundgren pickup is not as hot, but it has that signature Meshuggah grit and gnarl. Good guitar, though the quality assurance at the factory is really hit or miss as was the case with my first purchase. Thomann checks the guitars before shipping and you can contact them for pictures and such, so theres some safety at least.
Pros: Unmatched low end clarity, quite lightweight, solid built quality.
Cons: Not for lead playing, large scale length and fret spacing, no neck pickup, wish it had that extra craftsmanship of MiJ/Prestige guitars since its the almost the same price.
