TLDR:
- Looked alright, but were too green for my liking.
- Application was simple.
- Started to peel from the get-go, even after correct application.
- Lemon oil and cloth caused them to instantly come off.
As much as I'd like to praise these - the designs are really cool - I can't justify the poor quality. I followed the instructions as closely as possible and these started to peel the second I started playing with them. This was especially prominent on the upper frets (15 to 22). In addition, these had a weird green tinge to them and just weren't good looking, in any light for that matter. The final nail in the coffin was cleaning the fretboard. Now, this could be completely my mistake by applying lemon oil to the fretboard, but regardless, using very light pressure the inlays peeled instantly with the first brush of a microfiber cloth.
Honestly, this is a real shame. I really hoped these would make a real difference to the appearance of my guitar, but they just weren't meant to be. Maybe the abalone inlay stickers would have been nicer looking. Though, that would have little affect on my overall opinion of these. These are definitely not worth the £10+ price.
