Suitable for most guitars - excellent
Sooz 08.05.2020
I’m very impressed with the service and the stand. I ordered the stand on 1st May, and it was delivered from Germany to the UK 5 days later - during lockdown.

In spite of the product image, the stand I received has a slot in the ‘strap’ to allow access to jack sockets below the strap button. I was only expecting it to suit Strat-type, front of guitar plug in. I have a mix of guitar styles including a hollow-bodied Gretsch, which the stand copes with easily.

The stand has a real benefit to me in terms of practicing for long periods, when I have neck and shoulder issues - probably from too many years of gigging : )
It’s useful when sitting or standing, and is set up so I can just sit behind it and play, and not fuss over headphones, cables, etc.
I’m really pleased - you can tell : )

Very high quality stand, with some reservations.
JimmyTwoTimes 06.08.2021
I purchased this because my back was hurting when practicing, I was slouching and could not sustain practice because of back issues.

PROS:

- EXTREMELY well thought out. Height is adjustable. Base is very solid. Instructions have a lot of "safety" remarks you should go through, but clearly written, easy to understand.

- They even thought that you might want to see the freboard at times, so they made it so you can incline it with a simple, gentle press, while the guitar is mounted. Its such a friggin clever system. Sometimes you want to not see the fretboard and leave it fully vertical to practice like on stage, other times you practice precision and you need to see frets - just GENTLY tilt guitar towards you while mounted. When done, tilt back vertically for safety. Brilliant.

- unexpected benefits - I find myself practicing a LOT more, because the guitar sits elevated on the stand in a corner of the living room, amp is on, and it's very tempting to just go to it and practice.

CONS

- The most important clamp, which connects the holder to the base, doesn't seem at all safe to me. It seems to be very inflexible when rotating and you cannot gauge whether it's in a safe position or not. More thought should be put into this one most important clamp.

- Consider your pets messing around this thing.

Very ergonomic
MarkBNL 31.01.2024
Ideal, I can play standing now without the weight of my bass (4,5KG) around my neck. No more strain there, great. And it looks nice on stage too. Will fit most guitars and basses, probably not with odd body shapes....

I wanted to love it but....
Mila\'s Father 21.11.2022
The stand works almost as intended, but don't count on it working on all of your guitars, and I wouldn't trust an expensive guitar to this stand.
The clamps are aggravatingly fussy to use, and way too difficult to use for quick quitar changes. When tightened enough to hold a guitar solidly, the clamps can bend or damage the guitar.
The rubber pads on the clamps don't stay on the metal clamp tabs very well and I've almost lost them several times after a guitar change. I have since glued the rubber pads onto the metal.
The stand is pretty flimsy and wiggly given it's high price tag.

It holds slab bodied guitars ok (as in JUST Ok,,, not really well) ... strat, tele, LP jr, etc.. Carved top guitars don't do so well....I can get it to hold on my 335 style guitars, but it is less than ideal and the guitar moves and shifts, creating the possibility of damaging the guitar finish. My Les Paul is too thick and heavy and it won't hold it at all. The clamps damaged the pickguard on my JM.
Thomann's service shipping it to me to USA (along with a guitar) was flawless, but the product is overpriced and needs some engineering improvements.

No more back or neck pain!
Peter1966 13.05.2022
Excellent product to allow you practicing for hours (standing or sitting!) and maintain your back upright without slouching. The stand is well stable and the guitar adjustable in all direccions. Only mild criticism is that the screw to maintain the inclination towards one’s body requieres extra tightening. That’s why 4 stars for the production in stead of 5. Overall a recomendable product.

I use this at home to fit my electric 12 string. It was very hard to find a stand like this for electric guitar bodies.

I was not impressed at first because the holding mechanism seems a bit flimsy, but then the (pretty heavy) guitar stayed there for weeks with occasional playing without moving or sliding a bit.

Playing on the stand is ok but the guitar is very vertical, It would be nice to have the possibility to tilt the guitar a bit to improve the view of the neck.

I recommend.

too hasty judgment
Fedetapping 06.10.2016
I bought it to play tapping style. It spring on all sides. Not stable at all. I'm thinking of taking it to a blacksmith to make a modification or looking for another one. IT MUST BE STABLE AND FIRM !

Works as advertised!
Dave Z 13.05.2022
Works exactly as I needed and wanted. Due to a back injury I could no longer support a 9 pound Les Paul on my shoulder. This stand solved the problem! It's easy enough to assemble and use, and holds my guitar securely. Also, I'd read some reviews where people couldn't get the cable plugged in to their guitar when it was on the stand, but I had no issue.

HR
Fiddly and not universal
HONEST REVIEW 30.07.2023
I can just about fit my electric Fender VI bass into this stand. The strat guitar is a little easier but still fiddly.

It's a good product in terms of materials, sturdy metal.

It's not so well finished - the rubber grips come of every time I remove my bass, risking a scratch.

It's very impractical.

The clamps are far too tight to push open (they're spring loaded) to easily get an instrument in. It takes more time than is really acceptable, especially if you need to set up quickly.

Even then the grips don't come far enough up the body to feel truly safe. I worry that it will fall every time I use it.

It's a nightmare to get back out again.

I've decided not to put my strat anywhere near it due to those easily removable rubber grips which fall of and expose sharp metal to scratch your instruments.

Good stand, but has some strong flaws
Slava Bychenko 13.10.2024
The stand really helps me because of my shoulder pain. This was the thing I really was looking for. It’s very convenient to release the pressure for neck/shoulder/back. But there are some cons:
- The connection of guitar holder to the stand doesn’t hold too well, no matter how tighten the nut.
- the holder’s metal is fairly soft and bends easily.
- the biggest problem are the rubber endings on the holders are easily removed and easily lost because of that. And I don’t see them on the website to order extra. I already lost 2 out of 4. And the holders don’t grip that well without the rubber parts. They slips from the lacquered guitar and scratches it. Why weren’t they glued? And how can I order those extra rubber parts?
