Does the job very well, worth it for the price. One thing to be careful of, with some guitars if you don't place them totally straight I noticed them very slowly sliding to the side. I don't think the guitar would fall out but I didn't want to take the risk so made sure they were in straight when I placed them in the stand.
this has a great build quality and it isn't as big like a "regular" guitar stand. and trust me, it's pretty hard to knock it off (perhaps not so much with small kids around).
anyway, I'd say.. spend the extra bux and get this instead of a regular stand.
I use the K&M guitar stand for my Les Paul Guitar. The stand is very strong and well build. Fit's perfect for my guitar.
Pro: Very strong and very stable.
Cons: I have no cons to add.
I recommend the stand. Very good description from Thomann. Thank you guys!
Better quality than expected and also quite stable.
Suits very well LP shape or more symmetrical kind of body, while a bit less well asymmetrical Strat/Jazz/Jag.
Products of K&M have a good reputation and this one is no exemption. Sturdy and heavy enough to keep the guitar in place. Only a little careful when you're placing your guitar, make sure it's centered on the stand. That is not an issue of the stand but it falls to the responsibility of the player to place it correctly. If you do, it will stay still!
This stand is heavier than some but I take that as a mark of its quality. It's not going to topple over and the expensive guitar sitting inside it is not going to meet the floor anytime soon. I like the fact that the guitar sits quite upright in it, not leaning back, so you can even put a Les Paul in it and it won't be touching the wall.
Bought this in a bundle with my Sandberg bass. It does exactly what I need it to do. Nice and stable and appears to be pretty good quality. Even in the most narrow setting, it's solid. I can't find a fault with it.
I have purchased this one to match with the other K&M stands I already own. Very steady, easy to use. One has to be careful with guitars with nitro-lacquer finish, but a short put off won´t harm it either.
I got this stand mostly for in appartment use, but also something that can fold up and be transported. I knew beforehand that stands like these are not ideal for assymetrical guitars, but I hoped it would be good enough for my jazz bass, and it is. I haven't had any problems and am not worried for my guitar in the stand.
