Versatility is what I need and these stands offer that and look good too. You don't need to tighten them up like a gorilla for them to stay at the right angle. The coating is durable and the mechanics smooth. They are all I need in a mic stand.
Beautiful stand. It is very stable and the grey email finish is just gorgeous. I like the telescopic boom half way. You don't have to reach far to adjust. For such a nice stand the price is really good.
I mainly use it as a stand for a handy recorder. It's a high quality and very stable stand with large range of settings for example to hold an overhead audio/video recorder.
Got this to use with an Aston Halo reflection filter which is pretty bulky and heavy and it has been supporting it with no problem. Looks and feels very sturdy, quality materials used. Couldn't be happier !
Quality is amazing. When you take it to your hands you can understand it is best stand you can have. Also warrenty time on package was for a very long time. In our national radio house they have same stands and being used for every day. After 8 years they look like new :)

The K&M 21080 is a kind of standard at our company. After spending hours with sliding microphone stands which can't carry a large diaphragm microphones i am so glad to have a stabile stand. It is just built like tank. In my opinion it is better to pay a bit more than to buy two or three times.
