I got this to mount on a hybrid electric kit and was hoping it would be fairly quiet. I got my wish but it is possibly too quiet. And the noise it makes isn’t pleasant to my ear one bit. Very short and no resonance. More of a sound effect than something you can crash. It is built very well and I imagine in the right hands it will be fantastic but it didn’t live up to my expectations, which were that it would be similar to the Pearl anarchy or something like that. Maybe the larger model is more of a crasher and this is an accompaniment. Alone it seems obsolete.

If you want to add some trash sounds to your kit then this is a great, cheap addition. Can be raked with your stick to create a guiro effect but I just like hitting it!!

Le son est pas fou, c'est entre le clic, le rimshot et le son d'un hh fermé. N'hésitez pas a tordre légérement les lames pour l'effet désiré, ou de jouer de rondelles nylon pour ne garder que le son des plaques. En guiro c'est sympa, mais la ligne est courte je trouve sur ce petit modèle.
