Brilliant coated head with two foam mufflers around the edge. Dampens the sound nicely. Give a really warm, deep tone and still has plenty of attack

Ich spiele das Fell nun rund 3 Monate. Ich habe vorher das EMADII System von Evans gespielt, das konnte in meinen Augen einiges mehr.

Der Schaumstoff Dämpfer kann beim Remo aufgeklappt werden und wird mit Druckknöpfen montiert. Wahlweise kann man so einen größeren oder geringeren Dämpfungsgrad einstellen. In meinen Augen ist der Dämpfungsgrad jedoch immer sehr gering.

Die Bassdrum muss trotzdem von innen gedämmt werden durch ein Kissen oder sonstiges für einen knackigen Sound mit Punch - Dadurch geht mir allerdings das Volumen verloren und der Effekt des Dämpferpads ist somit kaum spürbar. Bei Evans war das System einfach durch und durch erstklassig. Hier musste ich nichts weiteres in die Bassdrum tun.

Durch den gesetzten Schwerpunkt am Fell lässt es sich nicht gut stimmen und klingt irgendwie immer recht pappig. (die Innenseiten des Dämmpads sind mit einem Magneten verbunden, der ist recht schwer)

Alles in allem betrachtet: Geschmackssache. Ich würde es nicht noch einmalmal kaufen.

Très bon rendu sonore, de bons graves avec un beau son de frappe. Ben prendre le temps de l'accorder et de la régler. Dans le paquet il y est fourni un petit renfort pour que le maillet de la pédale ne creuse pas la peau ce qui est essentiel a la survie de votre peau. Je suis très satisfait de mon achat

Best what is out there for short and punchy sound

While I play a lot of different genres the sound I'm mostly looking for tends to be short but punchy to make double bass patterns sound distinct while not having a dead bass drum sound. In my experience Powersonic provides the best result out of the box without any need for additional dampening or other accessories to modify the sound or sustain. Has been my go-to batter head for many years.
