A great to alternative to Legere ... but different

As any synthetic reeds, it's a durable and very consistent one which is to like . I loved the fact that Yamaha decided to give its reeds the same colour and feel as a cane one . It's slightly gritty on the tongue versus the plastic softness of the Legere .
In term of sound (I choose a 2.5) i found it slightly darker than the bright Legere studio . The response is maybe a bit slower and the reed harder on the lips than the Legere .
Overall, it's a great one to try but I find that articulations are easier on Legere . Again I only tried 1 strength but i think it's a good option to help students achieve consistency if they struggle with squeaky noises .

Gut für Anfängerin und Wiedereinsteiger

Vergebens habe ich das Kunststoffblatt von Yamaha in der Stärke 2 oder gar 1.5 gesucht. Aber das scheint gar nicht nötig zu sein, denn auch mit diesem Blatt der Stärke 2.5 können eine Anfängerin und ein Wiedereinsteiger sofort problemlos spielen.

Kein Anfeuchten wie bei Holzblättern notwendig; einfach einspannen und loslegen. Klanglich vernehme ich keinen Unterschied zu Holzblättern - jedenfalls sicher keinen negativen. Auch Tongue Rolling ist problemlos möglich und erzeugt den herrlich rauen saxophonigen Ton.

Das Produkt wirkt stabil, wertig und langlebig. Da das Yamaha-Blatt auch noch günstiger ist als andere synthetische Blätter von Harry Hartmann Fiberreed, Légère, Forestone und Bari (die wir ebenfalls ausprobiert haben), würde ich das vorliegende Produkt jederzeit wieder kaufen und hoffen, dass Yamaha auch noch weitere Blattstärken anbieten und seine Kunststoffblätter auf weitere Grössen ausweiten wird (insbesondere Sopran).

Nichts zu beanstanden!!!

Habe dieses Blatt für Alt sowie Tenor geordert und war von beiden positiv überrascht! Wirklich leichte Ansprache von Tief bis Hoch,passen auch zu meinen Rousseau Mundstücken.Außer das sie sehr glatt sind habe ich nichts zu beanstanden und da darf es auch eine Sekunde länger dauern,das Blatt ordentlich zu positionieren!!!
