Yamaha YTR-4335 GII Bb- Trumpet

Disclaimer: I’m a double bass player by trade and playing the trumpet just for fun. That said, I really enjoy playing this Yamaha. The valves work flawlessly and with nice compression, the notes are in tune (as far as my playing ability allows) and in general the instrument seems easy to play. The sound is perhaps on a slightly brighter side, which is neither good or bad: definitely cuts through a live band :)

A nice detail is the slide-stopper screw for the 3rd valve slide: it has stopped my slide from falling out a few times already.

The case it comes with is really sturdy and the front pocket easily fits a laptop, which is very convent for traveling (actually, you can also fit a charger in the main space). It fits most mutes but unfortunately not the JoRal bubble mute. Still a great case though, great quality.
