Beautiful, Classic diode compressor/limiter

I’m from US and was not sure what to expect from my first purchase from Thomann. Everything turned out great. Initially the unit was only intermittently compressing and then stopped passing signal. I opened the top and re-seated a ribbon cable that seemed a little loose. That fixed the issue and the unit has been working great ever since. The sound is transparent yet thickening which is what i love about diode compressors. Very flattering to vocals, bass, and drums. Takes a slight edge off of bright distorted guitars and bright synths. Excellent alternative to 1176 and VCA sound especially when something needs body. Very happy and purchased a 2nd unit for stereo use.

Dieser Kompressor ist nach wie vor eine Geheimwaffe, wenn es darum geht, die Musik beim Mixdown in "Form" zu bringen. Limiter und Kompressor arbeiten hervorragend "Hand in Hand" und die Übertrager "glätten" das Frequenzbild auf eine angenehme Weise. Eine einfache Bedienung und die außerordentliche Funktionsweise lassen keinerlei Wünsche offen. Dieses Tool ist ein "Must Have"!
