Great Speaker

This is the second time I'm getting this speaker. A great speaker with American old school tone. It is my first choice for a clean, solid full Blues tone. Can't go wrong with the Legend 1518.
First time I used it was in a Peavey Delta Blues 115 amp. It sounded very deep. The charactaristic of the amp brought a very tight buttom end voicing, especially when using a 335 type of guitar. Even though you might hear the speaker is very well balanced.
Second time was in a old Peavey Bandit transistor amp. Although not a tube amp, I thoght the sound was filled with much more sparkles and highs. It sings just beautifull and always have the warmth of low end to it. Perfect speaker as an Eminence speaker should be. Very well recommended!

Closed cabinet with 2x Eminence Legend 1518

I build cabinet in size similar to old 2x15 Fender Cab, 2cm birch plywood. Impedance is 4 ohms. In this moment only amplifier I can use for testing is little single-ended Bugera V5 (also by Thomann). I didn't expect much from this combination, but because of big sensitivity (103.4 dB) of speakers, this little amplifier sounded anything but little! Sound of these speakers are lush, with big low end. Top-end is kind of mellow in a good way. With bridge pickup on telecaster speakers just sing with pure old american style sound. Very good speakers, reasonable price. They work wonderfull even with such a small 5-watt amplifier. Recommended!
