Fender pure nickel - because I'm worth it . . .
Glenn2701 08.11.2016
I change strings on my stage guitars every 4 shows ( which probably works out at 6 hours playing time) , I've used most of the big brands at one time or other , and to be honest , haven't found much difference between super slinkies , daddario, or GHS boomers , I don't like the feel of DR coated strings , but all those brands are better sounding than the cheapies . . . . I got a set of nickels "free" with a Bigsby / B7 / vibramate kit , and I thought they "felt" quite nice , and sounded good - since then I've used them for the last few months - I play pretty much classic rock , via a tech 21 Sans amp , into a H K Tubemeistre , straight into the PA - using various Gibson Les Paul's ( with Bigsby's) . I'm really happy with the sound and feel - for the price of strings I'm happy to experiment - Have a try of these , what have you got to loose ?

I have used Fender pure nickle for years, only moving to Ernie Ball while production was moved to Mexico when I felt they became brittle and less durable.
These sound great with all types of pickups....I'm playing through vintage half stacks and they really suit them.....the sets are well balanced across, feel very comfortable and last really well.....top sound and quality!

Top Quality Strings!!!

I use Fender's Pure Nickels for more than 8 years for all my guitars. All i can say is that they perfectly stay in tune after a typical strech but the best thing is that they last more than any coated strings i've ever tried.
