The bridge posts aren’t standard, they’re 7mm in diameter. They require filling in your original bridge post holes with dowel, then re-measuring and drilling. No problem for your local guitar technician. The wire can be sent down into the body directly below the bridge and out into the bridge pickup cavity, then through the access holes into the control cavity. We paired this with the Powerchip in my workshop and it works really well to blend any combination of neck, bridge and piezo pickups. The sound of this unit justifies the price, it’s a top drawer piece of hardware 😁👍🏻 The wiring isn’t super difficult, but not easy either.
Overall, medium difficulty installation and a top quality sound and operation when combined with the Powerchip. If you don’t have much experience working on guitars then call your local guitar technician 😁👍🏻

Installé sur une Epiphone Les Paul, résultat surprenant.J'ai ajouté le préamplificateur Fishman et un petit interrupteur qui me permet de passer du son acoustique au son électrique voire de mélanger les deux.
Installation un peu technique toutefois.
Très content du résultat.
Bin sehr zufrieden, musste aber den Powership nachkaufen. Sound ist sehr gut, aber werd nicht schrauben und Löten möchte, dem empfehle ich das Boss AC-3. Hier ist der Sound für weniger Geld besser einsetzbar und wesentlich günstiger. Die Soundqualität ist genauso gut bzw. besser einstellbar.

Perso je trouve important d'ajouter un potentiomètre pour régler le volume ainsi qu'un switch pour passer des magnétiques au piezzo ou les 2. Niveau son, sur un ampli acoustique c'est une merveille !! Je m'attendais à un son beaucoup plus métallique (style musicman ou P22 de PRS) le son est rond et bien équilibré. C'est en partie dû au type de chevalet, sur une tele ou une strat ça serait un peu plus métallique je pense. Très bon investissement, parfait pour augmenter la panoplie de sons et pour passer electrique/acoustique en 1/4 de seconde ! Service Thomann toujours au top (au passage !)
