The reason that I love this mount, is that I'm able to fit my ride cymbal next to my (single) rack tom. And without the hassle/use of space/pain of an extra cymbal stand!
Ok, it is a bit tricky to find the right spot to mount it on the bass drum - which obviously is important, because you need to drill two holes in it, so this has to be done right on the first time. Probably it's best to do that with two people (holding up the mount with the cymbal in the right place and measuring where the holes should be), although I managed to do it alone. The whole thing with the ride cybal is stable enough, although you can move it to the left/right if you want. But with normal use, it hardly moves and so it will not break. I'm really happy with it!
