Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s IT

Na gitarę czekałem równe trzy miesiące. Mimo, że jest koniec maja data produkcji wskazuje na koniec grudnia 2020. Całe szczęście dotarła w jednym kawałku, w czym na pewno pomogło podwójne pakowanie przez ekipę Thomann. Jeśli chodzi o ocenę samej gitary, to sytuacją wygląda następująco:

Plusy:
- > Gitara gra jak marzenie
-> waży 4,4 kg, ale zupełnie nie odczuwa się tej wagi
-> bardzo duża wygoda gry i znaczna różnica na plus w
ogólnych odczuciach w stosunku do Gibsona Tribute 2017
-> gitara przyszła dość dobrze ustawiona (niska akcja, menzura, nic nie brzęczy, dobrze nacięte siodełko)
-> stroi idealnie i zaskakująco dobrze trzyma strój

Minusy:
- głównym minusem jest słabe wykończenie;
-> po pierwsze gitara przyszła niesamowicie brudna od jakiegoś jakby wosku? Ciężko to opisać, ale bardzo ciężko to schodzi. I nie jest to w jednym miejscu, bo tak ubrudzony jest cały korpus, gryf, mostek, a nawet klucze
-> niedopasowany top: na jednej części korpusu piękny flame maple, na drugiej jakby bardziej plain...
-> duża ilość drobnych niedoskonałości: sporo rys widocznych pod światło, pozostałości bindingu w miejscach łączenia gryfu z korpusem, w jednym miejscu przy łączeniu gryfu z korpusem wyraźne niedomalowanie (tak na oko z 2mmx3mm - oczywiście na topie), w cutawayu krzywo poprowadzony binding, otarcie na główce, pęknięci e lakieru przy siodełku
-> w kategorii pół żartem pół serio, zdjęcie dodawane tradycyjnie przez Gibsona do gitary - naprawdę trzeba się postarać żeby zrobić tak słabe zdjęcie :)

Podsumowując, technicznie gitara jest bez zarzutu. Jedyne wady, które znalazłem, to kwestie estetyczne, ale na to byłem przygotowany, choć zawsze jest nadzieja, że może akurat tym razem trafi się idealna... Czy polecam tę konkretną gitarę? I tak, i nie ;) Jeśli chodzi o brzmienie i ogólne odczucia, to dla mnie "to jest to" i już bym jej nie oddał. Jeśli ktoś szuka gitary doskonałej, to trzeba zakup przemyśleć. Nie jest idealna, ale z pewnością ma w sobie to coś.

I was a bit concern when I was ordering this guitar. There are wide spread of opinions about quality control, finish etc. Maine is almost flawless - literally. Sound is amazing, and finish great. Of corse there are some small spots, but this is not boutique, hand made guitar. Only complain was that intonation of D string was completely off :D . At first I was in hurry and though this there is something wrong, but it was simply not set at all. Another thing is that neckbeard was completely dry. I had to put oil on it. Everything took me like 30minutes, but I do it with every guitar I get, anyway.
Summary, I am happy with this guitar. I had LP from PRS, and I didn't like sound of it. This one I like, it is versatile, I would like to see coil split, but even without it it is gr8.

What a beauty. The sound and the looks are amazing. Gibson did a great job and managed to exceed my expectations!

After months of browsing the internet, watching YouTube movies and playing a Gibson LP custom that I borowed from my neighbor, I decided to go for this guitar standard 60s in the Iced Tea finish.

I ordered the guitar in July knowing that it would take some time before I would get it and the wait has most definitely paid off though I got bit anxious hearing stories from people about bad finishes and imperfections up to the point where some people are advising against buying a Gibson... Nothing of the sorts for my guitar. It's got an assembly date of 1 Sep 2021 and the only negative thing is that fretboard has a little bit of glue residue here and there and that it's completely dry. Nothing that a good clean and conditioning can't handle while replacing the strings. Finish and paint are excellent there's not even a ding under the scratch plate! Action out of the box is great, exactly to Gibson's specifications, I may lower it a little, but it plays very smooth and fast and damn the sound is hot, even hotter than my neighbor's custom. One of the reasons why I picked the standard 60s over the standard 50s.

Overall I'm very happy with my new guitar and I plan to enjoy it for the rest of my life!

There is little to say about this guitar, it just sounds frigging uber!

If you want a daily 'come to jesus' moment with your guitar, buy one of these and plug into a valve-amp. You will never go back.

For those looking at this guitar as a 'financial challenge', don't turn away. There is a reason you started looking at this guitar. The word 'pedigree' doesn't even start to cover it....

After buying a genuine LP, you'll realise the tonal quality, playing comfort, and amazing versatility is what makes this guitar a legendary instrument.

This thicker 60s neck is super comfortable, good for bigger-handed-folks who sometimes struggle with thin necks. Build quality is top-spec, and the included tools and documentation are bob-on.

Looking forward to getting it down the guitar-shop for a full setup, but out-of-the-box, it sounds great and is 99% there in terms of readiness and tonal accuracy up the neck.
