I was after a concert/parlour sized guitar. Having played a friend Guild which I adore it was really a no brainer. You won't see many any if any Guild M-20s on the second hand market, and there's a reason why - owners love them so much they won't part with them. And even when they do the delta between buying brand new is tiny, it seemed madness to risk a site like Reverb, for an instrument that will be part of my life, for the rest of my life.
Rationale: I paid the additional price to have the LR Baggs fitted by Thomann - throughout Thomman communicated to me clearly, and it was pleasantly surprised to arrive yesterday, a month earlier than anticipated.
Conclusion:
If you are looking for an all-mahogany concert/tenor guitar - there are two stand-out candidates - either the Martin 00-15m or the Guild M-20e. I opted for the former as I already own 000-15m and seemed silly duplicate something in my collection.

Excellent playability, mellow, focused sound, very different from what I have used in the past. Medium oriented with warm lows and an overall vintage sound. I was looking for a guitar for singing - songwriting, couldn't be happier.
The construction is spot on, quality materials and great workmanship. Perfect factory setup, the guitar was ready to play straight out of the box.
If a warm, focused and quiet guitar is what you're looking for, the M-20 will tick all the boxes.

Ho aspettato la mia splendida GUILD M-20 da settembre del 2015, quando la nuovissima sede GUILD era ancora in allestimento e le macchine non avevano ancora iniziato a lavorare. C?è voluto qualche mese per poterla avere tra le mani ma la soddisfazione è stata grande.
GUILD M-20: piccola ma con un suono potente, nitido ed inconfondibile. La tastiera da 44,5 mm, consente una perfetta mobilità delle dita anche per il fingerpicking . Ottimamente rifinita per essere uno strumento di medio prezzo. Anche la custodia GUILD, robusta e completa di umidificatore incorporato, merita e completa l?acquisto. Ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo.
A mio modesto avviso, una sola piccola pecca facilmente risolvibile ???? i bottoni delle meccaniche sono in plastica bianca. Una meccanica con bottone in nikel sarebbe il suo top.

Ich habe lange nach einer Gitarre gesucht die meinen Wünschen entspricht. Ich wollte nicht nur das sie gut klingt, sondern auch das sie eine schöne Holzoptik hat. Meiner Meinung nach ist es nicht besser und schöner möglich gewesen als es hier der Fall ist! Daher musste ich auch zuschlagen, obwohl ich zugeben muss, einige Tage gegrübelt zu haben wegen dem Preis. Aber ich wollte auch auf jeden Fall eine Gitarre von Guild, da ich schnell, ein großer Fan geworden bin!

Wie erwartet, besser als alles was ich bis jetzt so bei der Suche gehört habe. Ein super Bass, der mich überzeugte, und nette höhen in die ich mich beim selbst anspielen verliebt habe!

Nervös die Packung geöffnet, aber durch gute Thomann Lieferung und beste Guild Verarbeitung schnell sehr sehr Glücklich geworden :)
Gar kein Problem, habe alles überprüft und nicht den kleinsten Kratzer oder Mangel entdeckt.

Ich wollte eine Acoustic Gitarre und das ist eine Acoustic Gitarre. Mehr braucht es aber auch garnicht oder?
