I was looking forward to the RAM 2000 but once unpacked and installed, it did not work. Had to send it back but got a replacement unit.
Replacement unit is very good sounding and functional.
But BEWARE: If your SUB has NO LFE input, you may need an XLR Y splitter cable to feed both L/R inputs! My Adam SUB 15 has NO dedicated LFE in and when I hooked the Ram's LFE out to the Sub's Left in, it sounded 6db more silent. So my SUB definitely needs both inputs for the volume levels to match. I put an XLR Y splitter in between and that fixed it. So check your sub woofer!
A Feature that I would welcome is low pass per monitor config so you can better match the sub with different monitor pairs.
The Ram sounds very open and good. The blue tooth is very handy and works flawlessly. Overal given the price this unit offers a lot! Happy customer.

I LOVE this piece! It's almost perfect. Sounds fantastic, very functional, well built, looks like an old NEVE. My only qualm is there's only one MIX OUT. I work in a Hybrid situation, some ITB Mixing, some analog mixing. This unit is great for ITB, but if you're mixing analog and need more than one set of outputs to print, meter, or anything else, you'll have to mult your outputs like I do. Not the end of the world, but even the BIG KNOB has 4 sets of MIX OUTS. Outside of that, it's absolutely FANTASTIC. The Bluetooth function is a game changer. Highly recommended piece!!

Exactly what my studio needed. Transparent sound and the best volume knob I have ever used. Bluetooth connectivity is an added plus! Recommend to all my friends.

Wem z.B. der Dangerous Audio Monitor Controller zu teuer ist, sollte sich mal den RAM 2000 des spanischen Herstellers Heritage anschauen, bzw anhören.
Über den Sound und Rauschabstand gibt es nichts zu meckern und auch Features (Ein und Ausgänge) lassen wenig Wünsche offen.
Auch ein SPDIF Digital Eingang ist vorhanden, allerdings vermisse ich einen digitalen Ausgang. Dieser wäre sehr hilfreich und würde dem das Gerät noch flexibler machen.
Auch die Möglichkeit eines internes Routing der Eingänge wäre wünschenswert. Deshalb Punkteabzug bei den Features.
Das Relais des Volumes Reglers am Gerät selbst Geräusche machen, ist bei dieser Bauart normal. Dafür gibt es auch keine Verfälshung des Klanges. Allerdings sind diese Relais Schaltungen z.T. auch auf den Lautsprechern hörbar. Deshalb einen Punkteabzug beim Sound. Meines Wissens macht der Dangerous das nicht, der kostet aber auch fast das Dreifache. Deswegen lassen sich die diese Punkte verkraften.
Insgesamt ein top Controller für gehobene Ansprüche.
