Unique Liteflite construction: moulded from a high-impact A.B.S. plastic with high-tech foam interior padding
The design absorbs shocks, offers excellent thermal insulation and a superior structural rigidity
The aluminium valance extends deep inside the case behind the plastic shell, into which all the hardware (handles, catches, hinges, etc.) is riveted, greatly reducing the possibility of fittings coming loose
Pro II Specifications:
Strong outer shell for a higher impact resistance as well as resistance to perforation

PROS:
Extremely well built
Small in size (for Strats & Teles)
Attractive
light in comparison to other cases that offer PROPER protection.
Cons: I wasnt given the case for free ;) NONE AT ALL
For those of you that are not familiar with Hiscox cases, these cases are an excellent choice when it comes to value for money coupled with reliability & craftsmanship.
They come in three models:
Hiscox Liteflite Standard
Hiscox Liteflite Pro-II (this is the one i have)
and the professional model, the Hiscox Liteflite Artist.
I came across these cases after spending over a month looking for a case for my strat, that was capable of being used on flights, but at the same time was not as heavy & as cumbersome as flight cases are.
There are many cases out there that are cheaper, look great & claim to be able to protected our beloved instruments BUT when it comes to actual performance, they fall short. (do your research and you will see for yourself)
I too have seen the video on the Hiscox site with people standing on it etc, but i want really interested in that, i was more interested in how they were built & to what stats.
To make a long story short, they cover ALL of the avenues that one should be looking for when buying a good guitar case.
Go to their site and watch the video, all shall be revealed.
I also actually called Hiscox (i like to try to contact the actual manufacturers of expensive products just to test their aftersales behaviour & whether i will encounter problems with their warranty should the need arise) and the help & advice that i got was invaluable, Kudos to them for GREAT customer service!
Last but NOT least, many thanks to Thomann's for shipping out my case free of charge-i had placed an order for some other items the previous day and that order went through.
I had ordered the case on another so called 'reputable' dealers site, but after 2 weeks those jokers still hadn't even sent the case out to me, so i contacted Thomann's and asked if they would include the case with my previous order-they said it was too late it had been already shipped, but that they would ship the case out free of charge.
Great customer service, in a time when many stores are substandard in their service towards their customers.
More importantly, Thomann's were under NO obligation to ship me out the case free of charge (shipping fees people, not the case lol)
Many thanks Thomann's, the case is even more beautiful (if a case can be described in that manner) in hand.

The latest edition to my family of Hiscox cases. I use this to house a US Fender Strat Deluxe on the road. She got her first outing at a festival this weekend and the guitar fits like a glove with little to no movement.
I haven't tried it but I'm sure if I used the case as a trampoline the guitar would remain unharmed.
Arrived very well wrapped.
