Satisfied, but not sure if it is sturdy enough in the long run
Mr Gui 26.03.2022
This unit satisfies my needs, as I use it to power a Korg Tiny Piano which is mostly used by my children. It has always fulfilled this assignment without default.
The Piano stays basically at one place and so the cable is rarely moved around, or subjected to too much unprecautious treatment (contrary to the tiny piano itself).
I rate the unit 4 stars because I never had to complain about it in 4 years of use. However, I'm not sure if the "cable" in itself would be solid enough if you move it around regularly to rehearsals/live shows etc. with the unavoidable abuse that comes with such activities.
So maybe necessary to have that in mind in accordance to what would be your use of the power supply.

Works as advertised, it's ok I guess. The "cable" is the same thin crap that you will find in 9v Boss adapters. In other words, it will break sooner rather than later unless you take care.
It's also a big drawback that the Volcas can't run on standard adapters but must use this special one with a slightly different plug. Really stupid and just a way for Korg to suck some more money out of people.

Although there is a number of compatible power supplies, the build and component quality is an extremely important factor to choose the right one for your needs. The Korg KA-350 is a 9 V / 1700 mA providing power supply that is perfect to power most of the Korg synths and units; it is well built and works without producing any unwanted noise (although is very recommended to use power conditioners for all your synths and audio gear). The plug is specific to fit into those units, being slightly bigger than the one normally used to power boss-like stomp boxes, so this power supply cannot be used on your pedals without an adapter. If you have anything between a Volca synth and a Monologue, and you are in need for a power supply, this is a perfect tool that you may want to consider over the plethora of other power supplies out there.

Korg power supply, bought for SQ64 Sequencer.
official Korg product, works as it should. UK buyers be aware; this comes as an EU plug with a plug-in UK adapter. decent length lead, though.
