I have Larsen Mediums on my Yamaha, Il Canone Warms on my master Italian, and thought these would be on my CR5. Yes and no. The G string needed to be changed to a Larsen Medium. The other strings played nicely. Would I recommend these over Mediums, no. Buy Larsen Il Canone instead? Yes. But the Magnacore is not different enough from a Soloist.

Ces cordes sont agréables à jouer et permettent beaucoup de subtilité : le son est merveilleux mais les moindres défauts de jeu ressortent.
Avec le temps, la colophane, la sueur, elles produisent un son plus métallique, et peuvent grincer, siffler : il faut donc les changer régulièrement ce qui revient cher
