I upgraded an ovation-type guitar that I bought in the early 90's.
The guitar itself doesn't sound bad and it is still good to play; the troubles came when amplification needed...
So I decided to search something to replace the low cost (and old) original pickup system with a new one trying to enhance the quality of the sound for the recording.
I've choose L.R. Baggs Stagepro Elements after comparing different marks and models too considering sound, tech features, quality and price too.
I found it solid, made with good materials; to me it looks as a quality product.
If you are able and are used to make maintenance and small works on instruments, L.R. Baggs Stagepro Element is quite easy to install (it comes with clear istruction too).
I also replaced the bridge saddle with a new one in graphite.
Honestly speaking I didn't thought such a result: Very nice tone, perfect balance, so much definition and harmonics too.
Now my old guitar sounds really great...
I'm really satisfied of L.R. Baggs Stagepro Element.
