First of all, I bought this ukulele in June 2023. That means I’ve been playing it for almost 8 months now, and I got to really practice and play with it regularly.
The instrument looks amazing, just like in the pictures, and the sound is fantastic ! You do have to tune it fairly often at first, but after some time you need to do that less often (but still do it every once in a while, of course.) I’m still using the cords it came with, and they’re very good quality. The ukulele itself is comfortable to hold and feels good in my arms. It’s neither too light nor too heavy, just the right weight.
Now, after some time, I noticed that the color started to fade a little - it was actually sticking to my fingers. Since I do certain chords a lot more than others (such as the C chord, Am, etc.), I noticed those areas are losing a bit of the black, which I think is a shame, but oh well. Some wear and tear should be expected from any instrument you regularly play.
In conclusion, I think this specific ukulele is very good for any kind of musicians who want a good looking and good sounding ukulele, but do keep in mind it won't look perfect after a certain amount of usage. I definitely think it's worth its price.
