This mallet is very much like the ones they played with in the earlier stages of the marimba history. Back than the marimbas had a much dryer sound and this mallets helps achieving that too!
I use these mallets for anything written by Clair Omar Musser - it’s easier to recognise small mistakes with this mallet so it’s great for practicing too.
The build quality is excellent too, it feels like these mallets don’t wear out ever.

Die Mallets habe ich wegen des Gummikopfes als leise Übe-Mallets gekauft. Dafür funktionieren sie auch gut, allerdings sind sie persönlich mir etwas zu lang und etwas zu hart. Ist aber Geschmackssache.
