I did not buy this for intended use:) I use it as a stand for my tablet, where my metronome app resides. Having dealt with those clumsy tablet holders I just had enough fiddling with their arms and hooks to readjust for all possible sizes (phones, tablets) endlessly. So I saw this and thought: "Wait a minute. That looks way simpler! My tablet or phone could be just resting on this thing and have no danger of falling out." It worked. Kind of... The plastic clamp is somewhat weird, the fixing bolt has to be screwed between the "jaws" until the very end, otherwise it will wiggle around. It could also do with angled "neck" for my specific purposes etc., but then again - I bent it myself and everything seems to be ok. Transportation is not a problem, it will not break (duh, it's mostly metal!) as some of my expensive plastic holders did. And last but not least - look at the price. It's ridiculous. For this money I bet you can just give it a try and if nothing else it will be superuseful in your rehearsal room or even garage. No kidding.

This little tray is very useful on a stand. It is a simple, yet efficient accessory.
It is very easy to place on a microphone or sheet stand. Once in place it is stable. It is very easy to remove as well. No damage was made to the stand, thanks to the rubber protection on the clamp.
On a sheet stand, it makes it easier to turn the pages, as the pencil and rubber no longer are blocking the way. :)
On a microphone stand it can be used to hold small accessories, the tuner for example.
The only thing missing is some sort of dampening for the metallic sound that occurs when something is placed on it.
This can be easily fixed by adding a bit of anti slip rubber!
There are some K&M trays with felt inside. But, at the time of writing this review, they cost more than the double.
For the present price: 5 stars.

Bought this to hold various bits and pieces for my skiffle band: Harmonica, train whistle, kazoo, the usual...
I do love the Millenium attachment; I have an instrument hook for my mic stand already. It clamps and holds to the stand post solid as a rock. The platform area is spacious - I managed to fit a large water bottle, as well as everything else on it, for a gig the other day.
Highly recommend this if you need some real estate for bits and bobs.
