Picked this up for the pure convenience of being to switch sounds & presets straight from the guitar itself for gigs and travelling, and they sound just as good as any pedal effects or VST plug-ins you'd normally have. The guitar itself also is a pretty high quality build. Good locking tuners, really fast neck, nice body contouring, clear noiseless pickups, the battery lasts about 10 to 12 hours, (ALSO, not many people mentioning this, but you can still use these guitars normally without the effects or the battery even turned on, still can played like a normal guitar!) Definitely worth downloading the GTRS App to get the most out of it.
But yeah, incredibly happy with this and has now become my proper workhorse guitar in the studio and my music course :)
