This is a natural cleaner which also goes easy on the violin varnish since it does not have turpentine in it. On the downside, I found that it is only good for light cleaning. Also, the plastic bottle, which can leech toxic chemicals into the cleaner, undermines the idea of having a natural non-toxic product. I would have preferred a glass or metal container and at this price that is not too much to ask.
