Once again, Neutrik delivers with a great, high quality XLR Socket. I use several of these on a 1u Rack plate on the back of my guitar rack. The main reason I use these is because it stops wear and tear on my won equipment!
So I se an Axe Fx 2. It has stereo left and right outputs. So instead of me wearing them out all the time, I just plug straight into these. And if they ever go wrong , its like £4 to replace. Instead of having to send the whole Axe Fx unit away for repair.
Not to mention its convient. Just cable a few of these on the back of the rack and your done. Easy to get to, and high quality.
The push button also comes in handy ( as I found out 3 weeks ago). We had a gig where there was a faulty XLR cable mid set, and then tech guy kept pulling different XLR cables trying to find the fault (it was a messy stage). He pulled my guitar one, but thankfully it was locked in place. So that avoided my guitar being cut from the F.O.H.
