Not an exact fit for the Ovation 1868TX-5 Elite T shallow roundback

Pros: Well finished, good looking, lightweight, good protection for the content based on rigid foam pre-molded to fit a shallow roundback, the part facing the strings in the lid is soft cushioned assistintg to keep the instrument gently in place, the case stands upright quite well.
Cons: Although it is intended for an Ovation shallow roundack guitar, the inner pre-molded foam does not exactly match the Ovation 1868TX-5 Elite T that I wanted to protect. This unfit makes impossible to close the case without previously spending some time manually triming the foam. A list of supported Ovation shallow guitars would be appreciated.

I have just purchased an Ovation Supercase 8117SSB to go with my new Ovation guitar. Thomann GmbH were very helpful, informing me of the best case to fit my super slim CS28P-KAOB-G. The case arrived very well boxed and wrapped. The Guitar case itself is of very high quality, with a lovely soft inside and great light hard exterior with the Ovation motive on the lid. This case definitely deserves a 5 star rating as does the company
