The stand is good but;
I think a key of some kind should be included to tighten the wing nuts. I do not feel it is secure enough only hand tight, so I had to find a spanner (which is bulky to carry around).
I was disappointed to find no hooks on the lower bar on which to hand a second gong as I was told by Paiste that the stand would take two gongs.
Thomann were good in sending replacement wheels when I told them one wheel did not have a nut and washer which meant I could not attach the four wheels.

My gong stand & gong arrive on time, packed extremely well & completely undamaged. When I got the package in the house & unpacked it I wasn't sure about the stand at first, but after setting it up, which too about 10-15 mins I was like Yeh this stand is solid. The true test was when I put the 32" paiste gong on it & began striking it. This 32" gong stand is very stable & I am well impressed with it. This is not a flimsy stand & it's well worth the £199.99 I paid for it. It assists the gong well to resonate as it should do. I very highly recommend this stand, as well as the 32" paiste gong I bought with it. Thomann came through for me & they are a trustworthy company to purchase from, no doubt.
