This is my second Red Panda device and I could not be happier with them. The Raster is loads of fun, capable of really nice, regular, pristine delays, a little bit of modulation wobbgle right through to super crazy pitch bent delays, even a hint of ring mod in there.
I'm a huge fan of delays that fall in pitch on every repeat - I used to do this with a rack delay and a harmoniser but now it is here in one small, hifi, stereo box. It also does pretty much everything the 'Baklengs' does (if you know what they are) but at much higher quality and memories etc,
MIDI support and web editor are great too though you don't need either to use this. I got this out of the box as soon as it arrived and played for over three hours without noticing the time passing.

Der Hammer! Macht extrem viel Spaß! Man kann auch gewöhnliche Delay Sounds erzeugen aber ich finde vor allem die ungewöhnlichen Sounds intreressant. Habe das Teil seit ein paar Tagen und kann es gar nicht erwarten jede freie Minute damit zu spielen. Sowas hatte ich ewig micht mehr mit einem Effektgerät. Bisher habe ich nicht einmal ins Manual gesehen, denn es ist relativ intuitiv zu bedienen. Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen! Ist vielleicht nicht unbedingt was für den Alltag aber absolut inspirierend und das Geld wert. Macht ausserdem einen sehr robusten und durchdachten Eindruck.

Je n'aurais pas la prétention d'avoir déjà fait le tour de cette pédale d'effet qui respire le sérieux dans sa fabrication et dans sa conception.
Elle n'est pas hyper facile d'accès, il faut prendre le temps de se mettre dedans, de lire le mode d'emploi et de regarder les vidéos déjà disponibles sur la toile (particulièrement celle de Mark Johnston qui dure presque 2h00).
Je suis plutôt habitué au pédale d'effet simple mais j'avoue que cette usine à gaz m'a convaincu... Parti au départ pour acheter un délai analogique, j'ai finalement craqué pour ce délai digital qui est capable de fournir tellement de sons différents : chorus, phaser, vibrato, pitch-shift... Bien entendu, on peut aussi retrouver des sons simple du genre slapback, octave up ou down... Avec une pédale d'expression, il se transforme en Whammy, les possibilités d'assignations stereo sont larges... Je ne sais quoi dire de plus tant je suis convaincu par l'objet.
Bravo aux fabricants qui repoussent toujours plus loin les frontières du sound design.
