I've been searching for a budget accordion for a while and the truth is that there is no such thing. Or at least until I found the 'Startone' brand on Thomann, and it was even on sale!!!
The sound is surprisingly good and loud. The bellows work well, the bass buttons don't stick and the piano keys are solid and actually feel high-quality and not like cheap plastic material.
It comes well packed and padded and even comes with a nice bag with straps attached that you can carry around if you need to.
The straps for the accordion feel very cheap and you'll probably want to get better and more comfortable ones after playing a few times, but that's fine.
The only bad thing I can say about this accordion is that it's almost impossible to play quietly or to play "piano", meaning that if you try to push or pull the bellows lightly to make a quiet sound you probably won't hear anything unless you really put some force in it.
I guess that's something to be expected from an instrument at this price point but overall It's great for beginners like me.
One last thing, not that important, but I would appreciate if it came with a small book or even a paper that explains how to attach the straps and how to take care of the instrument so it lasts longer.
Overall, great value and fun to play and practice. If you're thinking about getting an accordion to see if it's for you, this is definitely a great choice!
