Damaged my regular piece and needed a replacement. The 5C does everything I need it to. Well finished. Clear tone. Easy articulation and precise intonation. It will whisper or shout. The only problem is finding a ligature to fit. The Selmer single screw does the job. Sorted.
This mouthpiece justifies its reputation as a well-made and well-functioning tool for the general purpose player and it does not require hard to find reeds.

Clarinettiste à l'origine, j'ai eu moins de difficultés à en sortir du son correct que je n'aurais pensé. Les nuances sont faciles à tenir du double piano au double forte.
Niveau de fabrication, c'est du Yam, zéro soucis.
Pas assez de recul pour noter plus finement ce bec, en tout cas très facile à apprivoiser pour le piètre saxophoniste que je suis. Le tout après en avoir testé d'autres, je reste sur celui ci pour sa facilité de prise en bouche.

Ich benutze das Mundstück für Orchestermusik und für mich passt es optimal! Ich habe ein Mundstück gesucht, was gut anspricht und sich vor allem in der tiefen Lage sehr leise (...und auch laut, wenn gefordert..) spielen lässt. Ich habe auch deutlich teurere Mundstücke ausprobiert, aber das Yamaha hat mich letztlich überzeugt. Auch wenn es aus Plastik ist und wenig kostet, ist die Verarbeitung hervorragend - da habe ich bei einigen hochpreisigen Mundstücken schon anderes erlebt....(teurer heißt nicht gleich besser... ). Daher von mir eine klare Empfehlung für den beschriebenen Einsatzzweck - für andere Bereiche (Bigband, Tower-of-Power-Funk-Band oder ähnliches) hat es natürlich auf Grund der vergleichsweise kleinen Bahnöffnung seine Grenzen, hier sollte man wahrscheinlich andere, offenere Mundstücke in Betracht ziehen.
