Buy it and forget about any other stand

When i decided to buy a snare stand, i know it would be Yamaha, because they use really high quality metal, and screws never spoiling.
This is very important, when your kit is not stationary.

Next step, i compared prices, and decide to buy SS 950, because it's level adjustment construction. Very few stages are 100% horizontal, and sometimes there is no stage at all. And the only helper, is level adjustment ball. Also you can put a tom on it, and adjust it any degree, you want.

But the most comfortable thing, is this stand consist of 2 parts, which means, that you can carry it in you bag, or even in cymbal bag.

Yes, I paid a little more, but I get a lifetime stand, which is compact and very useful for any event I play.

Really stable snare stand at a reasonable price

Great design, flawless quality. It's center oriented design transfers the energy from your stroke directly to the floor so it feels really sturdy. Amazing quality for the money.

Snare Stand Upgrade

I purchased this Yamaha Snare Stand and have as of yet only had the opportunity to use it in a gig on one occasion but I am delighted with it. My previous Yamaha Snare Stand has been crying out for a replacement for a while now and when I saw this one on your website I ordered it without hesitation. I find Yamaha drum hardware in general to be very reliable but this stand is exceptional! Double braced legs with added spikes for extra stability and with very easy set-up and break-down. The ace in the pack is the ball and socket controlled snare basket which allows the user to position the drum at basically any angle you need and is ideal for all snare drum sizes including my 14" x 8" Yamaha Snare. A great buy!!
