Before starting let me clarify two things: 1. This is the first time I write a review and 2. Nothing I say here is intended to validate or invalidate what has been said in other reviews.
POSITIVES: The materials appear to be of good quality and it appears solid and reliable, aesthetically pleasing as well. The locking mechanism even if awkward may work. Need more testing.
NEGATIVES: I have to say first that before I have used a “Cebulla”, “Just Joe’s” a “Jazzlab saXholder” and a Chinese contraption for which I paid £8 which I thought were trying to copy the Jazzlab but simplifying. The Chinese has been my favorite strap for about a year and I thought my search was over, then I accidentally found the "Balam" and thought "This is what the Chinese were copying!" It turns out that the Balam has non-contortable edges that the Chinese (of definitely inferior materials) does not have, the Balam is difficult and complicated to adjust (not like the Chinese). The Balam has these back adjustment hooks that I can feel on my back. The Balam has a hook to hold the saxophone that appears to be unusually small and you cannot simply “put”, it needs to be maneuvered and it is impossible to put without dragging with some force through the sax ring :(
Finally the locking mechanism, the biggest reason (excuse?) To let go of £80, is difficult to put on and almost impossible to take off with the saxophone hanging in the perfect spot!
In summary I would not recommend this strap, defenely not at this price poit anyway. One star for the concept and another for the materials and nothing else.

This is the most comfortable strap I have ever used, standing or seated. The laces and toggles are a bit over the top, but I can forgive all of that for the comfort. A tip: use it for several days before you even attempt to adjust it - you probably don't need to change it at all.
Does not stay on shoulders, worse than a neck strap!
Sorry that nickname is already taken. 22.12.2020
Unfortunately this product simply doesn't work. And it's rather expsive for something that doesn't do what it's supposed to. It should distribute the weight of your saxophone over your shoulders, not touching your neck. However, despite trying all the adjustments, this won't stay in place. It slides forward off my shoulders until the "shoelace" cord between the two halves cuts into my neck. It's like using a shoelace as a neck strap! It's awful in design, well made I'll say, the quality of the materials is good. But, it simply doesn't perform the function it's supposed to. Don't waste your money on this!
