Not suitable for todays guitars

The staggered pickups don't suit most of todays radius fingerboards and the pole pieces cannot easily be moved safely. Also the sounds and tonal values of the various 5 selections aren't right, i.e. selections 1 to 4, that's neck to in-between middle and bridge just don't sound right, i.e. way too bassey. I should have sent them back to Thomas

J'ai monté cette plaque sur une Classic Vibe et j'en suis très content. De ma petite expérience je peux au moins dire que ces micros sonnent vintage, avec un twang vraiment cool.
Seul bémol, le niveau de sortie est un poil faible par rapport à ce que je m'imaginais mais rien de bien méchant.

Vintage Sound!

So ganz habe ich im Vorfeld die Kombination der Pick-Ups nicht ganz verstanden, da 57/62 Tonabnehmer doch eigentlich ziemlich unterschiedlich sind. Das Set ist allerdings sehr ausgewogen und liefert einen sehr klassischen frühen 60s Sound. Der mittlere Tonabnehmer ist nicht Reverse gewickelt, das bedeutet das klassische Rauschen der Singlecoils hat man auch in den Zwischenstellungen 2&4.
Hatte es in einer Mexico Stratocaster und war ein deutliches Upgrade.
