I am not one of those "ambient" guitar players, but this thing is just amazing. Not only versatile and useful for the every-day reverb and delay stuff (slap-back, subtle room reverb, etc.), but also so musical and inspiring. I really love it.
A good spring reverb + tape echo that sounds great without any fuss ? yes please

There are modes & dials & stuff, but if you think current DSP-based time based effects are overwhelming in their configuration, this is awesome. I got it mainly to offload a couple slots & DSP power from my HX stomp. all my patches used to have spring reverb & tape echo, and now I have these available via the fx loop.
This pedal sounds really good, deep and fat and the junction of reverb and delay really gives me an awesome sound as they work greatly together.
What anyone failed to inform me was if the pedal was good or not for lead distortion playing, besides the amazing atmosphere stuff it makes and shines doing, because i was looking for a reverb delay that was able to do everything.
answer: yes! i would say that im able to get a very john petrucci delay reverb tone, which is kind of specific and not for everyone but i absolute love. the result of the delay and reverb together is really when the magic happens.
besides that, all the atmosphere and creativity potencial i can go with this pedal is inspiring.
since i like to do lots of different sounds with it i need to tweek all the time: i would suggest somehow to memorize presets, it would make my life easier. but i cant even consider that a problem, would only be something that would make it more easy to use.
