I used them to replace my Squier Bullet Strat tuners, and needed to enlarge the headstock holes with a tapered reamer hand tool (Squier tuner is 7-8 mm, Kluson are 10 mm). I also needed to fill one of the two screw holes of the Squire tuners, but the second hole fits the Kluson single hole peg - so no need to drill new holes. Very happy about this upgrade. By the way, the Bullet Strat is an excellent guitar, worth much more of its price.

Replacement for my Squire Tele machine heads. These are nice and well made, easy going and keep the tunning stability. I could imagine a little bit "softer moving" but they work great anyway.
Be sure, you drill the hole in right size before you screw in the screw.
