As good as a Personal Vocal Coach, in my opinion.

I recently purchased the Korg VPT-1 from the Thomann Online Music Store, I think that it's a great product, it's exactly what I am looking for in fact, and I am quite satisfied with the overall features and performance of the VPT-1, in what it does to help my vocal pitch understanding and development, being a music enthusiast.
For instance it let's you see and comprehend more about where your personal vocal range is on the musical notation staves, so that you can keep your vocal pitch on track with practicing your music, with the help of the sharp and flat pitch indicators on the unit.
You can also switch between difficulty levels, Easy, Medium, and Hard, and if it's within your vocal range, you can move one octave up or down on the music staves.
The reference sound and sound back function are really good features also.
And in my opinion this item or product would definitely be a great help or asset to any D.I.Y. music enthusiast or professional musician alike. - Thanks to the good team at Thomann.

Als Sänger hat man sicher oft das Problem "bin ich zu hoch/zu tief". Letztlich kann das aber natürlich jedes andere Stimmgerät auch. Der Vorteil ist beim VPT-1, dass der Ton sowohl als Tonname (z.b. G#) als auch die Tonhöhe auf den Notenlinien angezeigt wird. Das ist vor allem für etwas ungeübtere Sänger sehr hilfreich.
Allerdings finde ich die drei vorgegebenen Levels zu anspruchsvoll - für einen Laiensänger ist selbst "easy" fast nicht zu schaffen.
Auf der anderen Seite wäre für die "Profis" wünschenswert, wenn man nicht nur Töne, sondern die Tonarten vorgeben könnte und dann zwischen wohltemperierter und reiner Stimmung umschalten könnte.
Da das Gerät sicher in erster Linie für ambitionierte Laien und Chorsänger*innen interessant ist, wäre es schön, wenn man auch die Tenorlage (oktavierter Violinschlüssel) anzeigen lassen könnte.

Fazit: Wer Sänger ist und etwas mehr als ein übliches Stimmgerät möchte, ist mit dem VPT-1 sicher gut bedient. Aber mehr als die Anzeige der Töne im Violin- und Bassschlüssel bietet das Gerät im Vergleich zu anderen Stimmgeräten dann aber doch nicht. Aber für den Preis kann man auch nicht viel mehr erwarten.

Cet "accordeur" vocal est intéressant pour ma part lors des séances d'enregistrement : l'objectif étant de mieux comprendre le placement des voix. En effet, bien que la note semble atteinte, la hauteur semble légèrement plus basse ou plus haute en fonction du placement et de la façon dont on attaque la note, créant une instabilité (ceci est d'autant plus flagrant pour des écarts d'intervalles très importants). C'est là que cet appareil entre en piste, afin d'adapter son attaque en fonction de l'indication à l'écran.

Il existe trois niveaux de "difficulté" qui correspondent en fait à la précision de l'appareil. Les notes sont marquées sur une portée en plus d'une indication anglophone comme sur les classiques accordeurs d'instruments à cordes.

Il ne faut pas considérer cet appareil comme un moyen de suivre toute une partie chant en direct car la captation est assez lente. Il s'agit ici plus d'une aide pour vérifier les points de difficulté d'une partition, ses grands aiguës ou graves et le placement de la voix.

En conclusion cela ne remplacera pas l'écoute extérieure et les conseils d'un professeur de chant mais a l'avantage d'être une aide à tout moment!
