Bought this as cheap stop gap until getting around to investing in something more substantial. Using it to provide as a subtle always on effect.
Pros: It is inexpensive; It is very sturdy, Allows for reasonable variation of dept and speed of tremolo. Exactly as advertised, provides a decent and smooth tremolo effect, no unnessary frills.
Cons: Fairly large. Power connection input not great, somewhat loose and tends to cut out if moved slightly (was using standard Boss connector); Found sound to distort slightly when using 9V battery. The wave form knob doesn't really do much.
If you want to add a touch of tremolo to your sound and don't want to spend too much and have space for a large pedal this is ideal. All in all this is good value for the money, Very reasonable for the price.

Design-wise and durability seem to be great! Super solid, a little bit biggie.
Sound-wise, my ears tell me that it cuts a lot of the body of the sound. Compared to the Boss versions, I think the Boss ones keep the sound fullness. This seems to cut a bit of volume, low, mid frequencies.
It's cheap, does the job, but don't expect a sensational sound. It works and sounds decent, but you loose a little bit of the overall sound quality.

Super easy to use with clearly labeled knobs. Also very space efficient!!
I like the range of smooth and choppy sounds you can get.
I have nothing to critique on the sound quality, it's definitely tremolo. You can get some good Alt-J vibes going with it or just add some nice movement to your sound.
The casing is nice and sturdy. Non clicky button which I enjoy but make sure you press it down fully as you can half press it sometimes and do nothing. The knobs are super cheap feeling but are still working perfectly and I purchased this a couple of years ago I think and has had plenty of use.
For the price you can't really go wrong. If further down the line you think you need more from a tremolo you can invest more but this has always been able to do what I want it to :)

Nice tremolo pedal. Not as good as a fender obviously, but i use it on my board with a Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 20 deluxe amp and it works a treat live for the times i need it.
Only issue with it (and all the cheap tc pedals I've brought) is the screws. They seem to be on super tight, and will burr really easily when trying to open them for a battery, so you're warned.
My 1st one developed a weird distortion and it was replaced by Thomann easy as pie.
This didn't put me off the pedal at all, rather it made me more happy to purchase these cheaper pedals as I know Thomann will sort any problems straight away.
Update. 5 years in and it's still flawless. I've moved it over to my bass pedal board....SO KOOL !
