Overall the bag is well made: solid and thick padding all around and a sturdy shock absorber in the bottom. The first impression is therefore good - especially considering the reasonable price. But at a closer look this bag didn't live up to my needs. The mats in between the cymbals have a habit of getting in the way when putting the cymbals in. Also they don't go all the way to the bottom so the cymbals actually touch each other, which in my opinion isn't what you want. The very sturdy shock absorber in the bottom seems amazing but the cymbal on the bag seems to slide down next to this absorber and therefore sort of is unprotected on the ground. Also not really what it's meant to do. One more negative in my opinion is the lack of protection on the sides on the top half of the bag, where the zipper goes. There is padding next to the zipper but not where the zipper is. Somehow this seems to be where the cymbals end up cuddling up though. To be fair this lack of padding at the zippers is a general problem for every single cymbals bag (I've ordered six different ones...) that I've tried. I have yet to be satisfied on this point.
So, if you're looking for a reasonably priced, decent quality bag with above middle ground protection for your cymbals, this could be it. If your cymbals are your babies, this is not your bag. And again, in all honesty, I still haven't found that bag. If you have any recommendations, please let me know ;)
