Best rack I've ever seen or used, ultra lightweight, compact, robust & stable.
I wanted a 2 legged rack but needed a side bar for 2 cymbals over the floor tom, so I also got the 24" side bar and cantilevered it off the right hand post, pleased to say it's rock solid, no doubt it would take another tom as well.
Both the HXTCII Multiclamp & the HXOCII Hex Racks Open Clamp are, again, perfect.
Initially I thought the level was just for show, but it's an integral part of the setup, if the curved front bar is not 100% level, the two post legs cannot be vertical (using the standard HXCCII Cross Clamp)
I also realised that it's better to angle the feet of the legs towards the bass drum as if they are parallel the rack can move slightly when forcefully playing the cymbals on the side arm. Once I turned the two ends inwards, the rack was solid.
I've always somewhat disliked racks, but this is a gamechanger, light, very quick to set up & strip (after the initial setup of course) and very convenient in tight spaces. It's the rack for drummers that don't like racks!
