I use this crash for progressive/death metal music. I have not ever played a crash over 19", and this one is my favourite by far. I also own a 17" caz crash, which also sounds amazing.
Despite its size, the crash opens up instantly even with the slightest hits. It is very washy, thus really suitable even for heavier music.
The quality of this cymbal was by far the best of any Zultan cymbal I own - no strange small dents, no fingerprints, nothing.
I absolutely love this crash and currently this is my favourite crash i have ever played (have tried Sabians AA thin crashes, Istanbul Mehmets, and Zildjian A customs in the past).
What I would like to add - those who like using bells on a crash cymbal - this cymbal is not for you. Its bell has completely NO bell-like sound, which seemed strange to me, but i never use it, so i dont mind.
However - would absolutely recommend. Keep an eye out for "amendedband" channel on YT for a review.

I once ordered a pair of sultan splashes (raw and aja) to use as a set of mini hats. I love them but there wasn’t much else that appealed. Years later I go looking for a big crash that would sound like my mates crazy expensive Heartbeat crashes.
Wow, I find that Zultans range has expanded massively. On comparing videos and reviews I decided to take a punt on the Caz 20” crash, for £150 it wasn’t going to be a disaster if it didn’t work.
But …. Oh my!!! This thing sounds exactly like how I remembered the heartbeat crash. Big, soft, warm, washy, dark and a little dry. I absolutely love it!!
I can’t vouch for longevity, (like any thin crash I suppose) but I’ve used it recording and live quite a few times, and both lightly and giving it a big ole whack! What’s even better, one of those occasions was playing with said friend and his heartbeat crashes, we played the heartbeats and the Caz together for a few nights at a big conference and they sounded perfect together! It records beautifully too!
Will definitely be buying more of these!! I just can’t see how at that price anyone could be less than delighted with this cymbal.

For 149 euros this thing is a beast.
The cymbal looks even better in real life.
It doesn't got any weird spots so quality control is good.
When i took it out of the bag and hit the cymbal with my hand i got presented with a big whoosh sound, it opened up real quick.
The cymbal itself is really thin so that's one thing you have to keep in mind, i would call it a thin crash.
It has a beautiful dark tone with a hint of trashiness.
I can safely say that Zultan is the best value cymbal brand out there.
