Not convinced I got a THIN cymbal :(
Hammerman! 11.03.2024
I ordered a 20" Q THIN crash but mine didn't say "THIN" like in the product picture, so I'm not convinced I actually received the right cymbal.

I contacted customer service, and they reached out to the manufacturer who confirmed they sent a "Thin" cymbal.

I was hoping for a buttery soft feel with a nice washy sound, but what I got was a heavy, thick, deeply dark and cutting sound, which doesn't suit my musical taste.

It's a great looking cymbal and the quality seems fantastic.

I now own Zultan 15" raw hi-hats (which I really like), 20" Q THIN? crash and 19" Dune crash... and just purchased the 18” Q Thin crash, so I’d have a matching set for heavier styles of music.

While I think the Zultan cymbal lines deliver massive value and give no quarter to the more expensive brands, the shipping charges from Germany to the US are far too expensive, so unfortunately, I don't think I'll be ordering from Thomann again anytime soon, unless they can offer a discounted shipping option.
